Thanks man...and I'll be thinking of the Real George all day tomorrow. I'll never forget his voice, his stories, his knowledge and his humor.

Thank you and Thank you twice for the posting. The items in the photo are not setup to their final display. I just wanted to put you into the thoughts from the very beginning.

Man, that is so touching. Thank you for including the shirt in the memorial. I am seriously beside myself. I wish I could make I tout to CA for the memorial. I will be there in spirit and will think of your dad all day. You're making him proud, James.

We will have an after service Celebration of Life party here at the house on Grande Vista.

Matt, We are honoring The Real George at his service. Thank you for being a real enjoyment of my father.

Some preliminary setup for my dad's service and memorial. The graveside service is Friday at 11:00am at Mountain View Cemetery in San Bernardino. #TheRealGeorge. We still have not selected photos of my dad. I love you daddy.

James, I am so sorry to hear this. I was just thinking of your dad the other day and was meaning to call him. As you know, he was one of my and the audience's favorite callers. He will be greatly missed! As a wedding present, he made my wife and I a beautiful chess board and a wooden welcome sign for our home. We cherish these homemade items. May the Real George rest in peace. He was one of a kind. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll write a memorial in my next email newsletter. I'm sure fans of my show will want to know of his passing.

Dear Matt The Cat,

It saddens me to inform you that my father George Driskill aka "The Real George" passed away early this morning due to complications of lung cancer.

I for sure know that your XM Radio show was very much one of the greatest highlights of my fathers retirement years here in San Bernardino. I also know that he was a highlight of yours as a call in fan to your show and the various things he has said both on the air and off the air about you.

I just thought that you would like to know. Thank you very much for being a spark of enjoyment for my father.

We have not yet scheduled services but I thought it would be best to inform you first here via Facebook since I also use Facebook.
