People with disabilities also want to be a part of the information society. They will contribute to its development, bringing into play their knowledge and expertise. However, to do this, concrete measures must be put in place to resolve current difficulties and intervene with reference to emerging obstacles. Because, if this is not done, persons with disabilities will have little opportunity to participate in the information society.
Persons with disabilities represent more than 600 million men and women in the world. They are young, and not so young; they live in large cities and in the far countryside; they go to school or hope one day to do so; they work or hope to be provided a chance to demonstrate their capacities; they are part of large families, or they are without resources.
A common goal drives them - to take their place in society, today's society and tomorrow's.
We hope that our paper will contribute to the debate and will encourage all WSIS partners to take the necessary steps to create a genuine equalisation of opportunities of persons with disabilities in the information society.

Eviction Case WG06266106 is just such weighty truth that needs to be fixed. The public justice has not been served in this case. This all started by my attempts at sharing FightAids@Home --- in its original platform before November 2005 on World Community Grid with my then housing provider and my Ryan White HIV/AIDS services agency. 3. Difficulty in defining vulnerability
I. Oakland – if you tried to use this in Oakland, the planning council would reject it
• Don’t want to use Ryan White dollars for this
• Planning bodies don’t have an interest in addressing issues affecting Latinos and African Americans (issue of racism)
• Even having data wouldn’t affect this
P. Addressing vulnerability
• How to make this issue a high priority that is addressed early on? If no one feels they started early enough, how should it be done?
- Oakland – needs grassroots advocacy, time and political enrollment; need to get community to pressure local government to make it a priority
- Start with issues that are linked to HIV/AIDS

What happened to me is not right, Ms Dejemal. The public justice has not been served in this case. It would be nice to have someone on my side to fix some weighty truth of these circumstances. Maybe a facebook friend.
Persecution involved is cyber-harassment and cyberbullying before laws were created. Cyber-hacking of two separate online accounts which were reported to the FBI Cyber Crimes Division but no monetary damages means FBI had no resourced to research and follow up to help me.
Continued persecution occurred after eviction while living more than 400 miles from Oakland.
After placing a classified advertisement in the Bay Area Reporter in October of 2006, my Oakland storage unit at Public Storage was found unlocked and was burglarized.
About two weeks after I started to blog my defense side of circumstances [ out of court ] in late December 2006, my vehicle was stolen from my parents home in San Bernardino and abandoned at the former address of where by brother used to live.
