it's done. it was my fault for being so selfish this christmas. while i am not a christian, i still have the feelings that christmas represents. but u can't force

Lynn, basically you are my family and friend.

It is not about the day known as Christmas that happens for the 24 hour period of the exact day of the 25th of December. It is moreover actually an observance of this time of year.

For me individually, I do have a sense of freedoms not having an obligation of a job so that the society can uniform its celebration on an exact date. You must realize this is also true of yourself.

How many people you offered an invite, universally it could be assumed that as family states I would of course be there. But there are several factors that alter my ability to commit to the date of the 25th, my dear mother's friend.

Instead of a broad stroke of an understanding, you found me insensitive. Sorry if that is how you view it, there was no recovery of that call and what was the progression of that call ended with a "take it or leave it" ultimatum. I am not playing any mind games, Lynn. I don't do that. I shown you that commitment to no games when the time I visited for your Birthday and in your defense made a call to Mark. So, if in one situation to another they are exactly the same.

So instead of you having any faith or belief that I would honor your invite to visit with you during "the holidays" --- which is not an exact date.

You were somehow hurt that I have not yet made a commitment to attend whatever you have plans and visions of happening on the 25th of December.

You started that call making an assumption that frankly Lynn is out of bounds.

But of course, you would not have an open ear because as "Correct Thy Friend" applies here, I have no greater commitment than to my own feelings and considerations of happenings that I would like to create so that JB and I can come together, no matter what date it is.

But you just don't want to listen to me. You find my assertive style offensive. Well, that frankly sucks that everyone treats me in a similar manner time after time after time..... Except perhaps not Joy Badwound and who I am living with Eric Maier.
